The foyer is divided from the living room by the millwork wall, which acts as coat closet on the entry side, and bookcase in the living room.
The millwork wall stretches through the entire ground floor, and accommodates a range of uses. It houses storage, closets, and shelving, but also conceals mechanical ductwork, and hides the entrances to the basement and second floor staircases.

On top of the new addition is a large roof deck that extends off the family office space.
The second floor bathroom was completely re-done with new finishes, fixtures, and millwork. The pendant light by Toronto company Object/Interface houses a built-in planter, offering an unexpected peek of vegetation.
